Your Future Starts Now

When you invited Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, life as you knew it changed. You no longer had the fear of going to a place of torment after you take your last breath. Instead, you were promised a home in heaven (where Jesus is). This place is described in the scripture as beautiful with many waiting to welcome you home. It is your “heavenly” home that is free from anything that weighed you down here on earth.

I want to remind of something this morning. Think back to the Lord’s Prayer. At the very beginning of it are these words…” Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven…”

Did you catch that phrase, “in earth as it is in heaven”? That could be one of the most powerful statements made in the Bible!

I know I say this a lot, but I’m gonna say it again. God wants nothing but good for you. You don’t have to wait until you step a foot into heaven to enjoy it. You can enjoy those blessings in the here and now. His will for you is good; it’s powerful and it’s beautiful. It is health; safety and a life that is happy. Do you see that?

We should pray the Lord’s Prayer often, but we should really understand the power of the words. We are praying to be in Gods will for our lives. This includes provision for what we need daily right here.

Below are some of the things we are praying in this prayer:

*Honoring God as we recognize who He is

*Being in His Will in the here and now

*Providing for our physical needs

*Forgiveness for us and others

*Help in staying away from harmful situations

*Deliverance

*Recognizing who holds our future

Think on these things.

You can find this prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. I memorized it in the KJV.

Ephesians 2:6-7 ERV

[6] Yes, it is because we are a part of Christ Jesus that God raised us from death and seated us together with him in the heavenly places. [7] God did this so that his kindness to us who belong to Christ Jesus would clearly show for all time to come the amazing richness of his grace. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
