Feeling Beat Up and Tired?

Oh, my goodness, what we put ourselves through. If you are feeling just totally beat up and tired in your life, read on.
There is this tendency in most all of us to be harder on ourselves than anyone else. We constantly strive to be this person everyone loves and, in some cases, forgives. Did you know, not everyone is gonna like you? Did you know, not everyone will forgive you? That is just the nature of some folks, and you can’t change that or them. Only God can do in their heart what you can’t do.
Your previous mistakes which you have asked for forgiveness for from the Lord, are gone…unless you continue to bring them up, He doesn’t even remember them. Of course, you remember and beat yourself up for having made those errors in judgment. You are not the same person you were before…and your forgiveness from Him is complete.
Jesus died once, and that was all that was needed. No other sacrifice was needed ever again for forgiveness. When you are unforgiving to yourself for the things you deem as unforgivable, you are sacrificing your life unnecessarily. You will stay downtrodden, tired and beat up. But when you give all of that to the one who sacrificed it all for you, the world begins to open up to so much more than you ever imagined.
Be a kind and forgiving person…not just for others, but for you. Watch as the “bruises” of your life change to a countenance of contented restful peace.
Hebrews 10:18 NLT
[18] And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
